What have you done for Him today
Who gave His life for you?
What have you done for Him, my friend,
To prove your love is true?
Have you reached out to help a brother,
Who was filled with guilt and shame?
Did you extend a helping hand,
To one who was blind or lame?
Just what have you done for Him today,
Did you pray for someone in need?
Did you search your soul or hear His cry,
To His voice, did you give heed?
Tell me this, my Christian friend,
Have you witnessed today for Jesus?
Have you told someone how he bled and died,
Just so He could redeem us?
Have you warned someone today, to come
To Christ, for the time is near
When Christ shall come, for us who watch
And men's hearts will fail for fear?
If they haven't learned repentance, friend,
Because you failed to tell
Their blood will be upon your hands,
If their soul must burn in Hell.
So what are you going to do, my friend;
With the time God gives you today?
If you really want to serve the Lord,
Get down on your knees and pray:
"Lord, show me someone who needs to hear,
Someone I may witness to.
A hungry, lost and searching soul,
That I may lead to you."
