Where were you when I laid the earth's foundation?
Tell me, if you understand.
Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know!
Who stretched a measuring line across it?
On what were its footings set;
or who laid its cornerstone -
while the morning stars sang together
and all the angels shouted for joy?
Job 38:4-7
THE MIDNIGHT HOUR
I meet my God in the midnight hour,
When the world lies still in rest.
I find that in the midnnight hour,
My time with Him is best.
It's then, when all is peaceful,
From the clamor of the day;
I can hear the still small voice of God,
Answer as I pray.
He speaks with words of comfort,
To ease my troubled heart.
With love, He reassures me
That we'll never be apart.
And in that midnight hour
I can praise my Father too.
As I thank Him for the blessings,
And the trials He's brought me thru.
If you too, should meet the Savior
In that blessed midnight hour,
You will find your life is charged,
With the Holy Spirit's power.
