Storms of Life

When Satan takes something or someone you love
And you feel you'll not smile again;
Remember it's God who restores what is lost,
And with Christ, you will always win.

Now Ole Slewfoot may snicker and laugh for awhile,
But we know, "he who laughs last, laughs best".
So don't throw in the towel and quit just yet,
For God gives us strength for each test.

Tho your skies may seem cloudy and grey today,
And the storm may seem treacherous and grim-
Just remember the promises in God's Holy Word,
And turn your life over to Him.

For what Satan steals, the Lord will restore,
And in doing so, you may find;
That what He restores is better by far,
Then what you have dreamed in your mind.

So, dry away tears and be free of fears,
Just trust the Lord with your sorrow.
For walking with Him, I'm sure you will find
A much brighter day tomorrow.
