WHERE ARE THEY? OUR POW-MIA's
Oh! Where is my boy? A mother cries,
He never came home Is he still alive?
Where is my husband? A wife's sad lament.
I've heard he's not there, where they said he was sent.
I want my daddy to play ball with me,
I need my dad to pray with me.
And so the cries go on, day after day.
Where are the answers? What does the government say?
"They're no longer there, in that far away land.
We've done all we can, don't you understand?"
What have they done for our men over there?
The one's now lost that we love so dear!
Has our government forgot, how they ran to their aid?
When things got too hot, they went, tho afraid
Well it seems to me, the least they can do-
Is bring them all home, to me and to you.
The crying mothers, the wives who lament
The children who wonder where their daddies all went.
Bring them back home to the U.S.A
