No One Knows
No one can know the depth of the pain
That another person must bear.
No one can feel the emptiness felt,
By one who thinks God doesn't care.
No matter the trial or effort one makes,
Or the moments it seems worthless to try.
There's just no way to measure one's heart
When they feel life is passing them by.
It's easy enough to give good advice,
On how self-pities a sin.
Don't be too quick to judge someone else,
For what they are feeling within.
Just be a friend and let them know,
That your love is always there.
That's the one sure way to help them,
And prove that God really does care.
