I Found My God

Lord, I came to You downcast and alone,
Rejected by all I held dear.
Not knowing where I was going,
Or why I found myself here.
Now, I know it was by Your hand,
As a loving Father, You knew my need.
For here in this temple, I found my God.
And from bonds, I have been freed.
With broken heart, I reached for You,
Unsure if you would see,
But God, You took me in Your arms,
And poured out Your love to me.



I praise You, loving Father.
You've shown me love and grace.
Tho' yet I sometimes falter,
I need only seek Thy face.
I used to doubt Your presence,
But, now I know You are near.
Thank You for Your blessed Son,
By His blood, I need not fear.
I dedicate my life to You.
Do with it as You will do.
Just lead me, I will follow,
As a Witness unto You.
