Sitting here thinking
As I oft times do,
Remembering the years
I shared with you.

Our children now grown,
Going through the trials
That we faced together
Sharing tears and smiles.

It's true, we stumbled
Sometimes almost fell.
Yet the love we had
Sustained us so well.

I miss you, my darling

The sound of your laughter
