A FATHER'S DAY LETTER

Dear Dad;
Today is Father's Day!
Have we thought to say "I love you?"
Or said "thanks", in any way?

Fathers are so special,
Especially those like you.
You're always there to guide us
In everything we do.

From diapers on to baseball bats;
From bottles on to proms.
You're always there beside us,
To shield us from all harm.

You teach us to follow Jesus,
To be honest, brave and true.
You've set the good example,
Not just, told us what to do.

So Dad!
On this, you're special day,
Once again, we love you true.
And thank God, our Heavenly Father,
For a Godly Dad, like you.

FATHER'S LOVE

Dad, today is Father's Day
I just want you to know,
I'm very proud to be you're child,
because I love you so.

When I was just a baby,
and needed so much care,
If Mama called, you answered
You were always there.

When I fell and got a boo-boo,
and skinned up my knee,
You always knew just what to do,
To love and comfort me.

You sometimes even went without,
to meet my every need,
Honesty and truthfulness,
were you're "Father's Creed".

Now on this Father's Day,
I thank God above,
For giving me a father,
who has taught me how to love.

This page is dedicated to my beloved husband,
father to our eight wonderful children
who adored him and miss him terribly.
He was one week away from being fifty years old
when God took Him home to heaven
Our eldest son, a father of five children,
went to join him about seven years ago
at the age of forty-eight.
So we have two fathers,
now angels, watching over us and we know
God in His mercy
has releived them of the suffering
they knew down here
"Happy Father's Day Dad and Son"
We miss you and our love for you will never die.
