A Rainbow

 

Praise you, God for the love you showed,
In that beautiful rainbow today.
How it made my heart fill with joy
To see Your beauty on display.


It reminded me of all your promises.
Of how beautiful life can be.
If only we trust and obey Your word,
How Your love has set us free.


I saw in that beautiful rainbow
The Glory of Christ, Your Son.
How He died on the cross and then arose.
To save us , everyone.


As I gazed on those beautiful colors,
Stretched out across the sky
I thought of the new beginning,
We can have, if we but try


It reminded me that when in my life,
The rains of trials may fall.
The rainbow of Your love is there.
To raise me above them all.


So thank you Father, I praise You,
For this beautiful reminder today.
It has given my heart reassurance,
In such a glorious way.
