A Long Journey
Lord, my journey has been long,
Sometimes I lose my way,
There are times of loneliness
When I find it hard to pray.
There are times of anger,
When the load is hard to bear.
When sorrow moves into my heart
It's then I fail to care.
Oh Father, do you hear me
When I cry in pain and fear,
Do you see my heart is breaking
For I need you to be near.
I'm trying hard to keep my faith,
For I know its the only way.
But, Lord, help me to hold on,
If only for another day.
